The Central Africa Regiment, Uganda Rifles, and East Africa Rifles of the 1890's became the King's African Rifles which fought in German East Africa in World War I. Many small expeditions are covered, especially against the Mad Mullah in Somaliland. World War II saw outstanding services rendered in Abyssinia, Madagascar, and Burma.
